Our April Zoom program will be a PowerPoint presentation by Jeff Erlitz of the ERA International Tour of the Czech Republic in 2003. Cities visited include Prague, Brno, Liberec and Ostrava. Also included was a ride on the former Bechyně Railway, the first electrified railway line in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. Coincident with our 2003 visit, Bechyně Railway celebrated the 100th anniversary of its electrification.
Jeff has been a member of the ERA for 52 years. In addition to being an ERA director, he has been the editor-in-chief of the Bulletin since he retired from MTA New York City Transit in 2018 after a career lasting 39 years. You don’t want to miss this interesting meeting!
