Western Traction Spotlight: San Francisco, Honolulu and New Zealand
Veteran photographer and ERA speaker Andrew Ludasi returns with a panorama of unique photos and videos. He continues his world travels this past fall stopping in San Francisco and Oahu on his way for the first time to New Zealand. His presentation includes a brief showing of recent developments in San Francisco, a ride on the new Honolulu light rail followed by a condensed history of electric trains and trams in New Zealand, with photos from the museum and heritage operations there.
Andrew Ludasi is a longtime member of ERA. He recently retired from full time work as a transportation engineer but continues to consult currently on a project to make New Jersey's rail GIS network accessible via a user friendly web interface.
This is a program not to be missed—current events, new start opening and traction overview of a country rarely covered!
