On April 16, Governor Cuomo extended the “Stay-At-Home” order for all New York State citizens through May 15. As a result, we cancelled our May meeting at the Roosevelt Hotel and are conducting it online with Zoom.
Program
Our May show will be hosted online by long-time ERA member, board member and editor-in-chief of the Bulletin, Jeff Erlitz. Jeff’s Zoom presentation is about the ERA’s nine-day tour of Poland in 2006. Attendees visited 10 of the 14 cities with tramway operations: Bydgoszcz, Gdansk, Elblag, Grudziadz, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Poznan, Torun and Warsaw. In addition, the group took a trackless trolley tour of Gdynia. On the final day of the visit, a small group of attendees took a mini-tour of Wroclaw as we had to change trains there and had a couple of hours to lay over. This program begins at 7:30 PM and is not to be missed!
