Our March program will be presented by Jeff Erlitz (ERA #3997). Following up on last year’s presentation of the ERA trip to the Czech Republic in 2003, this month Jeff will be presenting images of the 2006 trip to Poland. The ERA visited 11 of the 14 cities in Poland that have tramway operations: Bydgoszcz, Elblag, Gdansk, Grudziadz, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Poznan, Torun, Warsaw (Warszawa) and Wroclaw. One city, Gdynia, had an interesting trolley bus operation. Time permitting, scenes from Berlin taken in the days before the Poland tour started may be included.
We will have a short business session to discuss matters related to the N.Y. Division before the start of the program. If you have anything you wish to bring up, this will be the time to do so.
